Humanity First and Last

        'Whole Universe is a Native Place ' . This reverberated in universe hours before her fatal return journey from Space to Earth . Yes she was Kalpana Chawla ! अहं ब्रह्माष्मी .... वसुधेव कुटुम्बकम ....I am not a citizen of Athens ... not that of United States also ....I am a citizen of the world ......You identify me as a human and human only who does have a Heart as you have ....It beats like yours only .... Every man I will go with thee and be thy guide and in thy most I will go by thy side ....

        Don't identify me with my जन्म भूमि या कर्म भूमि ....Think about Krishna .... where was he born and what good did he do for the humanity as a human being only though an incarnation of Lord Vishnu ..... East to West he made himself likable to one and all with his behavior and action only ... His very teaching has been to uphold the Dharma and serve the humanity ..........

       It is time one and all overcome this narrow thinking of identifying someone with his / her respective birthplace or etc. and look at the world in larger perspective .... Why one cannot orient one's thinking about contributing to humanity and taking it a step forward ....        For some years cultivation of North India particularly that of Punjab was suffering for lack of laborers. Thanks to MNREGA which created opportunities for labourers to find job in their own backyard. It was because of this only very few laborers from Bihar, Jharkhand,Odisha and UP had to move out of station to earn their bread and butter in recent years. Alas! this favorable condition could not continue for long. Once again for the sake of two square meals labourers are turning to North India. Their POVERTY is being looked as PROFIT by North Indian peasants. Farmers in the region are expecting to have bumper crop this year by virtue of labour of these labourers from Bihar and UP. They are expecting once again they will have rich yields or say 'Unki Dharti Sona Uglegi'.
      Migration from Bihar and UP at any category have always been seen and debated in a negative way only. However, do you know many small scale industries had to be closed in Nashik of Maharashtra for lack of laborers only. Since Maharashtra and Punjab are reckoned in developed states; economic condition of even lower middle class are better than the laborers who migrate to these regions. How their economic condition improved ? Did not these labourers contribute to their prosperity ?
      Being in 'News-World' time and again come across news items from every nook and corner of India, be it Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh,Rajasthan,Maharashtra,Gujrat or Andhra Pradesh etc. that in a certain city hundreds of laborers are agitating against ill treatment meeting out to them by their employers.

      It is high time downtrodden are treated with love and regards and find themselves in main stream. Their contribution in road construction, making of buildings and other kind of structures, ploughing the vast field of the nation etc. are invaluable. Am not I sitting in the comfort of the house they made, eating food they grew in the field and drinking water that they made available through the pipeline that they put under the land miles and miles from this end of water body to right at our home. They must be given their due. Due in what sense ? They deserve respect, love and adequate remuneration from us,They are the very foundation stone of the nation. They have great achievements to their credits. Salute to them!
